This sums up a lot of the issues for me. Any sense of discovery has been drained out of the stores as the same dross stays on the shelf and certain sections have contracted in size and offerings over the years
There are no real surprises in The Reject Shop anymore. Just the same stuff at sometimes cheap prices, sometimes the prices are more expensive than current supermarket specials.
I tend to go to Daiso or Choice homewares as my 1st port of call for discount store items these days.
I don't see any change in store to provide customers with some buzz or a point of difference
