Hmm if hybrids are getting greater market share, the only sector that looses out is pure ICE, as we all know % market of EV 's is growing in most most markets. On a gobal scale it is still growing way over 10%.. At moment the overall car market is shrinking and some claim it is due to high interest rates.
Hybrids have the worst of two worlds, complex ice engines and batteries, they are also way more expensive to make.
