    So Barnaby goes on 7.30 and puts all he wants to say with minimal attention to Fergusson's questions.

    Net Zero is his problem. poor Barbaby nipping at the bottle agin perhaps but still..... he is a Member of the Parliament.

    this ignores the reality.

    The world now invests almost twice as much in clean energy as it does in fossil fuels…


    the International Energy Agency provides a very simple report that has great significant charts.

    as you can see China has outdone the world in their investments and have done so for 5-10 years. for those with presbyopia like me the dark blue is renewable energy, green is nuclear, yellow is energy efficiency and end-use and theres a slender bar at the top which is Low-emissions fuels

    certainly they still invested in fossils fuels, as shown by our growing exports to China. but what hasn't grown is the growth in investment in fossil fuels.

    so maybe we can recall the few threads not long ago with claims of China increasing spend on coal plants?
