l purposely left out hydrogen as it's a way off yet and l reckon it's role will change. l'm sure we'll use it for chemicals and maybe some firming but that's yet to be determined .

l use the example of evs because it's real and its effectively a big added bonus to the energy storage story.
Ev to load is already a thing . The market is already designing infrastructure to host V2G. That's happening now. The industry is already processing the regulations and the legislation. That is happening right now as well . There have been several trials performed around the world and they've gone well .

They are actually trying to get in front of the market which is really encouraging .

So as ev sales grow we will hear more about this . Evs are getting cheaper quickly . There are over 3 million domestic solar systems on rooftops. Many of those people are very interested in buying an ev and powering there house.

The new middle of the day export fees that are coming have really created interest in V2L as well.

Given the potential of rooftop solar and its continued improvement l reckon that solar and energy storage is edging in front in the energy race at the moment . Time will tell..........
