Australia will be consuming and exporting fossil fuels for decades to come. The problem is that politicians are liars and crooks who tell people anything for a vote. Their mates in the media are just as dumb for pushing it. If want the closest thing to net zero, then you need Nuke. The rest of the grown up world has had nuke for decades. We got told by aging anti-nuclear rock star in the 80's that it would kill us all. Hawke actually wanted to use the middle of Oz as a nuclear storage area. The Labor mob of rats complain about the waste whilst they promote nuke subs. What do we do with that waste?
If people refuse to take a serious look at N power, then they are not serious about the issue of power production, they are focused on the idiocy of politics.
