Given that we are exploited for our natural resources on an industrial scale I really support the idea of state owned, state run power generation. Fed with Australian Uranium.

Of the 20 or so countries with it they were all state built, the private sector won't touch it as it is not profitable. And on a forum infested with people still hiding under their bed from the Communists we now here that it is such a great idea.

Even if it was kept in state hands the cost of the electricity will be too high.... but we all just know once built and paid for by the tax payers they will be sold for $1 to some foreign multinational who will then jack up the price gouge even more. After all..... that is what has happened every other time.

It is the dumbest idea in Aus political history and you really should recognize it as such.
