"my Swiss sis-in-law died hating men with a passion ". ... I can certainly see her point. the patriarchal culture that has pervaded most cultures around the planet have cause grievous harm to many women and caused more conflicts that religion (religion often being merely the excuse used, as it is in Muslim terrorist groups).

yoga? yes theres something in it imo... I loved tai chi too which is a kind of yoga. but meditation is what it's all about really. which ever tool is used it all results in centring and balancing the YinYang (an excellent term to explain meditation).

I engaged in New Age stuff for a few years. even trained in Reiki confused.png..... it was through this that I became aware just how subjective and lacking in evidence the whole New Age movement was. so I don't give the mystic side of Hindu belief, at least as its portrayed in modern western cultures, as having practical application. but that only imo. everything has value if +ve development comes therefrom.

the link is interesting. I'll give it some thought and research.

many thanks for our conversation dear Tau... you're a very inspiring lady.

    namaste.
