Looks to me like Netanyahu is now near his end as Israel's PM. Even pro-Israel MSNBC has now changed their narrative, they must have got OK to do that.
Here is what our trusty, as always, Al Jazeera is reporting. My understanding is that Qatar has never paid Hamas from their own money, they've been merely acting as a middleman between Israel and Hamas and just passing funds from Israel to Hamas. And I would think, Qatari have some proof to back it up as they must have known only too well who they are dealing with and that, one day, the US and/or Israel could accuse them of funding Hamas.
