That is your problem, Jack. You are daring to look behind the curtain.
No one here understands the technology. They just see it as magic, and no one invested in magic wants to see the truth. They want to maintain the illusion. They want to believe. Someone coming along and pulling back the curtain risks showing them that it is just an old man pulling some levers, and that there is actually no truth or substance behind any of it.
