Well there you go - I got a considered response from the moderator (I couldn't find a function to say thank you).

Essentially the message was that private communications between investors and companies are considered exactly that - PRIVATE - Various companies have been unhappy about those types of communications being shared verbatim (perhaps they should be putting disclaimers on their emails telling recipients it is not ok to cut and paste?).

The solution is simply to review the private communication and then use our own words to share it e.g. "I contacted the company to find out when there might be some sales and revenue guidance. They told me they are sorting legal stuff with iSoftStone and once that is completed they will be in a position to issue sales and revenue targets. That should be in the next month or so".

So, I am ok with that. Hopefully the moderator will be ok with this as well
