yeldub says I talk nonsense about government debt under Labor, and it appears I have been, as I have been saying the ALP have added 1 billion of nett debt every week since they have been in power. Please see below to see the accurate numbers.
The RBA has just updated our assets and liabilities for the quarter to end of June 2012.
Straight from their website you can get an excel spreadsheet which shows all government and non government NETT foreign debt. (Table H5)

So to the end of June 2012 the government has put Australia into government debt of 139 billion.
Rudd came to power in November 2007 at which time the government had a nett foreign reserves surplus of approx. 10 billion, the exact figure is hard to determine but is somewhere around that.
It currently sits at 139 billion debt.
So, in 18 quarters that the ALP have been in power, this equates to 18 x 13 weeks = 234 weeks.
10 billion surplus to 139 billion debt is a 149 billion turnaround for the worse.
149 billion / 234 weeks = 636 Million dollars of Nett foreign debt that the ALP has incurred onto the government accounts since being in power.
Still a tragedy, still an inditement of the worst government in the history of this nation.
636/7 = $90 million dollars of debt added to our foreign government debt every day these clowns have been in power.
$90 million / 24 = $3.78 million dollars of debt incurred by these mongrels EVERY hour of every day of every week since Rudd got in.
Why doesn't yeldub put some of these numbers into his kpi's signature???????
