It’s also why I don’t have an issue with shorters. They have a skill set and they employ it.
In fact if I was a trader I would learn everything about shorting. ie signals to look for, financials, directors, market sentiment.
because I reckon that with the knowledge I’d find myself looking to invest and sometimes find myself saying “this isn’t a buy, in fact it’s pretty much screaming short”
so I’d walk away. It’s not about the stocks you get right, it’s about the ones you get wrong.
