We appreciate charts, I find market sentiment fascinating and the charts give us a glimpse into the market psyche and patterns thereof.

what I (and i suspect many long term holders) don't appreciate are those posts that feel like thinly veiled intent to dissuade or spread fear disguised as a chart discussion.

it's one thing to say "the chart seems to indicate this, and take it with a grain or salt, otherwise, watch how this pattern progresses"

versus "this is a dead cat bounce and its only going down from here".

very different underlying messages. The latter is intentionally framed to stir emotions. Not to guide to teach or add value.

also we who have been posting here for years know who is new, we can sense who posts in good faith, who has research and informed analysis to share, who comes to learn. Others dont come in these forms at all, they post once in a blue moon to unsettle the community and disappear until they sense their shorts can bear fruit.

a good reason for using the mute / ignore button in these cases.
