I think the following explanation is the only thing that makes sense. I believe that Neu was in discussions with a big pharma behind closed doors and the price was dependent on the outcome of the phase 2 results. We then had over-exuberant buying after the first PMS result with a takeover in the wings. Discussions continued as the next 2 results were released and the price wasnt high enough for Neu board and so negotiations ceased. Industry insiders then sold and it has been perpetuated. Obviously this implies a leak of information which I am NOT suggesting came from NEU but likely from the other undisclosed company.
