In our trading group, we have 2 exceptional funnymentalists that identify solid stocks in the moving sectors. Then a couple of us silly chartists identify entry/ exits on those selected stocks. They go on our screens and we watch like mad for volumes and movement. In most cases the stocks get bypassed and swapped out but we only need 2-3 moving the right way for us to jump. Time spent in those trades is only determined by technicals.
Yes, we often get it wrong but it always averages out quite nicely. As you know I suck at fundamentals and just can’t get into it nor want to as I’d never want to get biased into a stock therefore to work within a team sharing knowledge and experience works well and covers all bases.
