    Interesting. I suppose if you are no longer interesting in doing the research and/or spending the time following your investments, or if you've made enough cash (yes I truly believe in such a thing as having enough money) investing in a managed fund makes sense. But if you're sharp enough to recognise NEU as a good thing, (and it appears you both are), why wouldn't you go with the option(s) that can make you vastly more than a fund?

    We see all the time fund managers jumping up and down when they beat the 200 by a few pips, now I'm absolutely no guru, but I'm well ahead of any managed fund I've ever seen- and I'll wager there's a bloody good number of fellow NEU holders in the same boat. Some of the best advice I ever got was "Don't ever let anyone else manage your money", and it's served me very well thus far.

    Personally if/when NEU is wrapped up and sold off, I've got a good little list of stock options on the back burner just itching for some attention!

    The above is not at all a critisism of your intentions btw, and please don't take it as such. Just an interesting conversation I guess.
