My favoured approach when investing for kids or for people just starting out in the market is to find 3 stocks with upcoming company making news that you give at least a 75% chance of successfully concluding that significant event.
Need at least 20X potential.
For example OPT at 40c considering its outstanding ph3 results in anticipation of ph3 results. or TLX at $10 even RAC I'd put into that basket and even CYP and Cu6 at $2.
There are plenty of other examples but I've turned a measly sum into a very large one in only 6 years with the same high risk/high reward approach.
