@slick is one of HC's best at sharing his knowledge and experience, and muchly appreciated by most, and some just don't get it. I've been in the game for 30+yrs and still happy to learn off of others. To explain my post;
This sell off for no real reason is perplexing. Volumes are normally 4-600k, last weeks volumes was around the mill mark was expected, but not this sell off. Few people crapping themselves? But for what reason? I thought a pull back to $15 would be fair.
This leads me to think that the MACD will be shallow and turn back up. IBB is at support and bouncing up, as previously mentioned, and my "hunch" is that the MACD will plateau and turn positive again. The SP is back testing the $12, and if you look back to last month the MACD was flatlining. Could be wrong, just my take on this.
RSI is my stronger point and the books will tell that 30 is oversold. For trading I don't work on that, I look to 20 for a good trade. However, NEU of late has respected the 30 and I feel it will again. If it doesn't and does fall to 20, then that would imply that the SP is falling to $10.
Lets not get to far ahead of ourselves, tomorrow and monday will be telling. Look for the reversal candle.
The SP could have a V recovery, or bumble along at 12 to consolidate before the next move. Sit on ones hands and watch this space, set alerts and go for a ride after 11, that what I do anyway.
BBs are of concern to me at the mo, were reseting, but now flatlining. Happy for slick's input here, he know these best.
FA could also throw a spanner in the works!
