But, the possibility of a t/o offer between now and a P3 result is certainly not miniscule.
I agree that most of our current SP malaise has been precipitated by disappointment that an imminent t/o offer is now a forlorn hope. Earlier this year it was considered an almost certainty - just read the posts of that period.
I could present an argument that this disappointment coupled with the ability (imo) of a predator looking to a low ball t/o has gone hand in glove with it ( a conspiracy for those who like to call it that). I could add further that the share buy back is an attempt to counter that, and shorting is not the target.
We really have no idea (although some think we have) of what management would accept as a t/o bid.
No way will I be selling before P3 endpoints and trial costs and duration are announced, together with additional conditions tested.
After that .... well, it is possible that the resultant SP rise will be the highest we will see before, either a t/o offer or a positive P3 result. For me, that will be the critical time to assess my future with the company.
