I am pretty sure (but maybe remember wrong) that JP has said he would not entertain offers until FDA endpoints agreed and new indications named. He said this because he said he wanted to maximise shareholder value and these were two near term data points that the market would soon have.
Given this commentary, a company would have to lodge a hostile takeover, a move fraught with danger given it is unlikely to then be recommended by the board, and taking into account the commentary I mention above.
So no, I don't think it is because we have priced ourselves out, I think it is because we are not entertaining friendly takeovers until we get 'valuable' new indications and agreement on Ph3 for PMS.
