The rumour mill has had an Acadia takeover as imminent every other month for the past three years. Of course, that doesn’t mean it won’t happen but I’m not seeing signs that it’s imminent. By the way, takeovers of neuroscience-focused companies are not that common. There’s been just a dozen valued at more than US$1 bn which have been acquired over the past ten years.
Do I think that a pharma is about to acquire Acadia in order to get to NEU?
