having worked in ASX top 5 and ASX 300 company corporate functions, I disagree with the notion that analysts do not have special access to the management. All analysts have regular meetings with the management/investor relations and sense check their assumptions in the model in particular smaller companies. That's the reason 7 analysts covering NEU all have target price within the small range.
