Shares in New York-listed, Australian-born bitcoin miner Iren fell more than 20 per cent overnight, after a short seller published a report attacking the company’s ability to use its data centres to house artificial intelligence chips.The short seller, Culper Research, disclosed its short position overnight during US trading on Thursday in a report that alleged the “cash guzzling” bitcoin miner’s data centres were not fit for high-performance computing (HPC) needed for AI applications.Culper are at it again Neuren get a mention in this AFR report
