If some of the potential upside calculations are correct then taking the early TO premium would be madness (for me). For example, if we can reach $200 in 10 years time from $15 today, that's an annual compound rate of return of 30%. If we can do it in 5 years, that's a CAGR of 68% PER YEAR! The problem with taking $50 today is finding something else to reinvest in. Personally, I wouldn't back myself to find such a high returning investment like NEU again, so I therefore would never pass up the opportunity to enjoy the long term compound returns.
