I would not at all be surprised to discover the board has received lowball/opportunistic informal offers that have been dismissed out of hand.
I also expect the shareprice to rise over coming months on the back of new indications, confirmation of endpoints, and confirmation of Ph3 timeline and its approach. Finally I suspect that if we make it to Ph3 results, and they are as good as I expect, than we will see something similar to what happened last time with trofinetide/Retts, where we went up 700% or so post results and that any takeover premium will be on that figure and not on $14.39.
