Perhaps you're drastically overestimating your own ability because you don't have any real world experience in these type of situations. It took me years to sell my own small business that made a fraction of what Neuren does in a non-specialised industry with plenty of buyers. I can't imagine how much more complex this would be, and I actually employed more people than Neuren does! In any case how could you possibly make that judgement now, before a deal has been done?
To respond to @ashgood123's comment. What did you expect him to do in the meantime? Announce a non-favourable deal just to meet your timeframes? It happens when it happens (if at all). The company has indicated that they aren't interested in smaller licensing deals or slicing off indications, and I completely agree with that.
