Although I do not, of course, know you personally, there are few people for whom I have more respect, both as to insight and as to integrity. So I take your statement that she is not an idiot very seriously.
But, given the obvious stupidity of what she said - and I note your devastating analysis in an earlier post, with which I entirely agree - if you are right, and she’s is not stupid, that would seem to leave only negligence or dishonesty as possible explanations. No? Pretty serious allegations. She might prefer stupidity!
