This is Lilliana, age 9. We started Daybue on April 25th and had a week of really bad diarrhea. We originally started at 10ml 2x daily. She unfortunately caught a stomach bug that was in her classroom that week. Which probably didn’t help with gut issues. We spoke with Acadia pharmacist to try to combat but we ultimately just stopped and gave it a week. Then we started at 2.5ml in evening and then have been adding 2.5ml each week. Now we are on 5ml 2 x day. No diarrhea since and we are seeing major improvements in walking. She was mostly chair bound beforehand and could only take a few steps at a time hunched over with support. Uneven surfaces were a complete no go. This was her last week at 2.5 ml in morning and 5ml in evening. We are sticking with the slow titration until we get to our 40ml dose.I should add that she used to walk like this about a year and a half ago. We had been gradually getting worse with gross motor movements and thankfully only after a month, we are back to this. We are so hopeful and excited to see what the next few months have in store for her.
