I agree with you - why be happy with $50 when you could get $100 or more in another 6 months?
I suspect for many part of the reason is once you've already made 10x your money at $25 then whether you end up at 20x ($50) or 40x ($100) starts to not matter so much.
As someone currently sitting on 14x I almost feel this way myself. If we were taken out for $50 it would almost be a relief to be forced to take the cash off the table. Currently when facing another potential 100-300% return in 12 months I feel logically I should leave every cent in Neuren. I'd be making a very stupid investment decision not to. But I have to say the numbers are starting to get scary!
