That's a pretty pragmatic analysis of the investing game prismen. Very interesting.

Personally I steer well clear of companies whose products or ethics I'm not comfortable with. I don't invest in oil/gas, arms, animal exploitation etc etc (my moral framework- no judgement on others).

But by your rational, it doesn't matter if you invest in a company making land mines to deploy in African warzones, or a startup trying to develop drought resistant crops to prevent famine...

I'm genuinely interested in others thoughts here. Someone once said to me "If you want to see more of something in the world, you can invest in it. Otherwise, don't". Aside from the capital raising exercise, does it matter what you trade in?
