An interesting read Vin...maybe this guy should be working for us, sounds like a shaker and mover. He's obviously promoting his own State and himself probably with the view that he will get the top job but why shouldn't he.
With that in mind and the fact that Mesoblast gets very few mentions in America ( perhaps simply because it is a foreign company based somewhere out in the Pacific ocean), is there a possibility that we could be trumped by a few Johnny come lately companies should they receive massive funding and support by their own State governments as requested in this Kansas presentation by the good Doctor Prentice.
Interesting also to see that each year there were around 60,000 patients globally treated with stem cells. Are these all clinical trials ?

Anyway, should such proposals as this one put to the Kansas State Senate Committee get off the ground, a big plus for us I guess would be that Medicos and the public should benefit greatly from the exposure adult stem cells would receive from such a Centre and, once the media get a good sniff well it all has to help and ideally Mesoblast will benefit the most.

These sure are interesting and challenging times.
