I think a lot of the stem cell therapy that goes on is autologous therapy. They extract some stem cells from your bone marrow (it hurts) then do a bit of purifying for 12 to 24 hours and then inject it back into the problem area. In the US a lot of clinics offering this kind of therapy got shut down and moved to Mexico because it was pretty much unproven risky stuff. Chinese clinics will offer the world - there's some real horror stories - people growing teeth in their patellas after a shot to the knee etc. It was during researching this stuff for my own buggered knee that I first came across MSB a few years ago.
