The Platinum Partners/Blumont transaction was going to be used to fund the Blumont/DML transaction.

From media reports, it looks like Platinum Partners has walked away. It could do this because the funding agreement with Blumont contained conditions relating to Blumont's share price.

The question now is, how is Blumont going to fund the DML transaction? It's not going to sell all its financial investments to do it.
