The UN should sanction China. And now this according to the BBC - China has banned the trade and consumption of wild animals but approved the use of bear bile to treat coronavirus patients. Still showing primitive tendencies.
What can be done?
Write to your state and federal MP and let them know that you do not want Chinese investment in Australia.
When buying anything - if it is made in China, look for an alternative that is made somewhere else and be prepared to pay a bit more.
Do not travel to China. Travel to Taiwan if you wish to experience Chinese culture. Obviously I am talking about when all this is over.
Do not vent on Chinese residents or tourists.
They are innocent victims as well.Most importantly - NEVER FORGET.

That'll learn 'em.

By the way our signal authorities had fair warning.
They use technologies to scrape all sorts of communications mediums.
They picked it up early on.
We knew but didn't have a crystal ball so all we can do now is look back in hindsight.
As far as trusting the Chinese Government.
Simple.
Don't trust them.
Remain wary.
