Looking back at TAM's ASX annoucenments these past couple of years there are numerous examples of this company not ever meeting it's expectations.
In several weeks time the company will mark 2 years in production. All those positive annoucements arount the time of opening - 70,000 ounces in production by June 2007 all seem such a dream away.
Of wonder is that why shareholders have had to suffer continued capital rasings and dilution. Why isn't the markey informed about what actual grade they did get from the openpit. If it isn't ther why bother to go underground.
The next few months will see a company struggling to make it's promises - surely it's time that the shareholders are fully informed about the company they keep holding up. Some clarity is required - can the operation continue without further capital injections. The future however rosy if told by directors needs proper foundations.
The future as driven in it's current path doesn't appear to be in a vehicle capable of completing it's journey. The losers will be the believers.
