I actually think this is a minor play in the whole scheme of things, I always was of the opinion given the timing that it was announced (hastened)at the behest of the authorities in Malaysia to further strengthen the position of Malaysia as a hub for RE downstream development. No I do not spot any conflicts in regard to the joint Siemens Lynas company, one could pop up if they floated another magnet JV with say a Japanese concern.
