sure WOW and WES will always be the big, dominant players.
the trouble is that Woolies has to become dominant over Coles to win back same store sales-that is the whole crux of the matter-not Masters as that is a puddle in the ocean in the scheme of things.
in other words- both Woolies and Coles will cut margin dramatically, not to compete with crap Aldi and Costco and IGA, but rather with themselves.
this is going to be very obvious at the results announcement by both companies in FEB, as the price war started 6 months ago.
in other words- there will probably be a euphoric type of price rise due to false positive sentiment by the SMSF brigade leading up to the results and that is where you can probably make real dough .
ok, if it goes the way i reckon- WOW will tank by at least 10% after results and gain 10% when the new CEO is announced, which will have to be after the results anyway.
so if you sell and buy back in, you are looking at 20% return with no risk.
sure i charge nothing for my insight, as i am just that sort of a guy.
