It's certainly had a good run but where to from here is anyone's guess.
There is a certain broker newsletter (who I generally like but don't subscribe to) that pushes the line that it's ok to try and time the market. Lots of guff about looking for "precipitous moments" and the like. I note:
They've been cheering being in cash from around Easter (maybe they'll change their tune after the overnight US inflation report)
From what I can tell their income and growth funds have both underperformed the market over an extended period
I just like buying good quality stocks when they're heavily undervalued (in this case VCX when it was around $1.50). I'm not sure it still fits the heavily undervalued category, at least not mine.
