I suppose that it does state that the new contract was put in place while the mine was operating under a heads of agreement so the value of that contract is not in the purchase price.
The price of the acquisition also reflects the same conditions affecting the global thermal coal producers.
Good to see Bathurst management approaching things like a business and not just a commodity opportunity. Buy Low, Add Value, and Create Value for sharehoders and NZ. And all the while doing things smarter and cleaner for the environment.
