But there is one notable exception in Freedom Foods, the food and beverage maker whose shares have been suspended amid warnings of accounting irregularities, the departure of its CEO and CFO, and disclosure issues.
Investors have seen millions wiped off the value of their shares, which dived from $4.42 at the end of May to $3.01 when they were suspended. It's a mess that ASIC will need to investigate and that could well prompt a class action.
Saying there will be ASIC review and likely class actions to follow.
