I'd suggest all holders and potential holders read the article, it's very comprehensive.

My personal takeaway is that projections have volume increasing greatly into 2026 and the government would not want to create competition for SYD, allowing SYD to hold a monopoly on both airports would obviously be good for SYD but its anyone's guess.

I understand tourists wanting to land at Kingsford Smith but given the option I would personally choose badger's Creek since its closer and more than likely going to be more convenient to travel to/from.
