Just a thought and a different line of attack on this,
Perhaps it is worth writing to CEOs of the companies we own to petition the ASX to stop the practice of BOT trading. Perhaps raising the idea of listing on an exchange that does not allow this sort of trading i.e. the Bendigo stock exchange or national stock exchange might be an idea, providing they can guarantee that they are unlikely to adopt the practice in the future. Now that the regulatory powers have been moved to ASIC they dont seem to have the control that they used to.
I can only imagine what sort of effect letters like these would have on the ASX SP.
