EB, yes I noticed that. There does appear, and I use the word carefully, that there is solid buying. Several times over the past few weeks the SP has dipped intra-day and bounced back.

The volume is also good - I recall the days when only 500 or so were traded and thus it was very difficult to accumulate a stake. Several times I went in with an order for 5/10,000 and came away empty handed.

Speaking of volume, the large trade from Bruce does not show up on Commsec charts - maybe they used Chi-x? Does anyone know of a consolidation site where the data can be charted with ASX and Chi-x data?
