Lithium and nickel down by about 2.5 percent each overnight. According to trading economics website nickel quotas in Indonesia have been increased and extended milling times indicates below average demand. TE also suggest lithium will be in surplus to 2028 and the high prices in 2022 were direct response to Chinese stimulus. Looks like the Chinese have locked in cheap Indo nickel for the foreseeable future.
