I don't see any staff being laid of at Wilmington and they were employed as permanent staff, and if Paducah gets the nod and gets funding, do they sit around for a year or two while it is getting built? and where is the US going to get it's HALEU or even Uranium from now? not in two or so years while Paducah is built, or seven to ten years to build new mines (and they are on tribal lands mostly) where does Centrus get it's feed-stock? who will only produce 900kg anyway and it takes them time as well to scale up,but where will their feed-stock come from! do you really think GEH UNF is ten years away, I certainly dont.
same goes for this new avlis laser company who really look as if they will be the one in the end making enrichment for the military. to think their CEO worked fro GLE once!

Not as if they can't sell what they had produced from Wilmington at a later date anyway besides all these hold ups in the US are their own doing!
