Stage 3 or a joint venture need not chew up massive capital. They have interesting prospects, any of which could become stage 3.
PB will require some capital spend by AVB as the banks won't want to stump up more than 80% max. But allowing say 2 years from now to build and assuming (as do Hartleys) that cash will start flowing in next quarter (sorry Awoonga :). That cash flow will aid in reducing the debt required. They will still have plenty of cash left for drilling exploration targets etc.
Cost of PB? Just as a back of the envelope type exercise; soon we will know what an 18,000 tonne plant cost at AN. Double it for 36,000 tonnes and you'll have a rough estimate.
