Obtaining core is as direct as you can get. It's as if you descended down there yourself and viewed the reservoir with your own eyes. Seismic is great but nothing beats seeing the physical evidence and what David is seeing is live oil and bubbling gas. This extra 9m core will just add more information. That will give them direct information of 54m of the oil column. David is renowned for his expertise in "completing" wells for Woodside and BHP. He will leave no stone unturned and if he decided to obtain an extra 9m core, I'll back him all the way. Who are we to question a man of his experience?
