P90 vs P50 vs P10:

Estimating recoveries or oil in the ground is just a guess of what is probable until you actually get it out of the ground.

P90 = very probable i.e with the set of circumstances they can see, 9 times out of 10....this is the volume recoverable. Many companies class this as their "low" recovery scenario.

P50 = 5/10 probable....usually get a mean or 'mid" case classification.

P10 = high case scenario where more is recoverable than expected.
