I reckon you are spot on sambek about zinc being under appreciated by investors and it really is a pretty useful though not sexy metal, a bit like tin in that way. I reckon Trading Tiger, Deansy, you and a few others have summed it up pretty well and you all draw the link back to the neighbours. Many argue about the quality of the info in todays ASX announcement but it demonstrated the massive ripple effect in price & volume even if on the worst case it didn't say much. I think it did sound positive and will continue to hold and buy on dips. I haven't been here as long as some but still have several years and dollars invested in this one.
