Keeping all this in context - Surprise is over 300km from Alice Springs.
The damaged equipment could not necessarily be replace till found and transported from far away.
So this 7 day lag obviously is a conservative estimate - maybe 5 day or 12 days.
Lets hope for less than 7 days but maybe some news of the previous testings will happen since they have been in a freeze for 4-5 days with the drill.
Any good news will be GOD sent in the next day or two!
